This guide explains how to install the Almosafer Business mobile app on Android phones and iPhones (iOS). The app is distributed directly by Almosafer and is not available on the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store, so you will install it using a link provided by us. Find your device type below and follow the steps.
Before installing, make sure you have the following:
A download link for your device, provided by us. Android and iPhone
A stable Wi-Fi or mobile data connection.
Your Almosafer Business login details (the same credentials you use for the web portal).
The iPhone app is an Enterprise build, so it is not installed from the App Store. You will receive an install link, so please follow as per below:
On your iPhone, open the install link in Safari
When prompted to install the app, tap Install. The app icon will appear on your home screen.
Open Settings > General > VPN & Device Management.
Under "Enterprise App", tap the Almosafer developer profile, then tap Trust and confirm.
Return to the home screen, open the app, and sign in with your Almosafer Business credentials.
On your Android phone, open the download link provided by us
Tap the link to download the .apk file. If your browser warns that this type of file can harm your device, choose "Download anyway"; the file is safe and comes from Almosafer.
When the download finishes, tap the file to open it (you can also find it in your Downloads folder or notification bar).
The first time, Android will ask for permission to install apps from this source. Tap Settings, turn on "Allow from this source" (or "Install unknown apps"), then go back.
Tap Install, wait for it to finish, then tap Open.
Sign in with your Almosafer Business credentials.
Troubleshooting
Android, "App not installed": Remove any older version of the app first, make sure you have enough free storage, then try again.
Android, blocked by Play Protect: Tap "More details", then "Install anyway". The app is safe.
iPhone, "Untrusted Enterprise Developer": You have not trusted the profile yet. Go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management and trust the Almosafer developer (steps 3 and 4 above).
iPhone, "Unable to install": Make sure you opened the link in Safari (not Chrome) and that you have a stable connection, then try again.
The app opens but will not let me sign in: Confirm you are using your Almosafer Business credentials. If it still fails, your account may not be active yet, so contact your Almosafer Business Key Account Manager.
